Crazy Insane
Just got a Logitech Formula Force GP from my bro. Played some "Live for Speed" and it's awesome. Need some suggestions for good racing games on the computer!

The gran turismo line or the forza line. Both are incredible. I am very partial to the GT line myself.

computer wheel... meh. see if you can plug it into your console?

i have the MS 360 driving wheel. loves it.

It is USB but I haven't tried it yet or anything... Yeah Forza and Gran Turismo are good but they aren't on PC :(
Just waiting for sega rally revo demo to install.... :)

I have the Logitech G25 :) It's a dreaam.

Great sim race games:
GTR2
GTR Evolution
NFS ProStreet (Go figure)
GRID (Highly recommended)

and that's about all I've got at the moment

PS. Hope u got a fast PC. GRID is one of the best programmed games tho, if you don't have a fast pc, try that one first

Well the problem seems to be I have Windows 2000, I downloaded the Sega Rally revo and GTR evo 2 demos and neither of them work :( And the AI in live for speed drives like you aren't there, always spinning you out and causing collisions.
My computer is ok but I don't think it could handle anything too crazy. I have a Radeon 9600 pro vid card, it's kind of old I think.
TurboMirage- I wish I had your setup :) And I can't seem to find Forza 2 at any stores... it's mind boggling...

9600. Awww. Ya that's old school these days.

I'm running an AMD quad-core 3ghz, 8 gigs of mem, 2 Raptor HDs in raid0, and 2 Radeon 4870 graphics cards in Crossfire. That rapes any of the above listed games with full AA. Think about upgrading? lol

However I think you should be able to run all but NFS prostreet acceptably. Best of luck, and have fun!

^your PC completely owns mine, I have an AMD 1,8ghz and 512mb of ram :( It's my bro's old computer cobbled together with some other spare parts :D So yeah, thinking of upgrading :D

Ya I have a 360 as well, but I don't have live and as of today I will never play a racing game without a wheel again :D
Just spent the last 4~ hours playing Live for Speed online. Very excellent and made me realise what I have been missing (and why I sucked so bad at forza 1 when I played it online lol)
Unfortunately no force feedback in LFS- this wheel supposdely has force feedback but i dont think LFS supports it. :(
