Ok, my friend just gave me his turbo kit off of his b16a honda civic EF. I was wondering will everything fit perfect on my honda civic 1998 b20??

short answer, yes

maybe not perfect, but it would very close. You of course would want to tune it.

there will likely be some need to trim the bumper or reroute the charge piping. Of course it depends if the manifold has clearance for power steering, ac, and if it sticks out so far it interferes with the radiator.

effectively you just asked this
"I have a door, will it fit in my doorway"

ok, well i dont have ps or ac so prolly not gonna worry about that. Am also looking to get a new turbo will any turbo fit or do i have to find a specific one? am lookingg for something that can spool quick but still have little topend.

when it comes to turbos your first question should be how much HP you want (goal) then you go over to turbobygarrett.com and read their turbo 101,102 etc. you will learn how to read compressor maps and understand turbos better, you can then apply the a/r etc to similar turbos to meet your goal if you're not into buying good turbos, although not all turbos are built the same and different manufacturers may/may not have maps for their turbos. also remember your motor (b20) won't handle tons of boost with stock sleeves and although boost numbers shouldn't matter (yet)keep in mind you'll be shooting for 6-10 psi approx 225-270ish HP. you'll probably be looking for something in a 50-57 trim.
oh and also, you will want a turbo that matches the flange on your manifold, unless you plan on getting a new one if the one on your new turbo is different.

sounds like you really shouldn't be playing with cars just yet. Read our FAQ section.. You should be able to find the answer to all your questions regarding this and then some there.
