I have a program (forget what it is I don't use it much) where you can make your own ringtones from music on your computer and then have it sent to your phone via text message. I'll get the info for you and post it up.

coolBurn the songs you like to an audio CD, make a CD that plays in a normal CD player
Rip the CD using Window Media Player but change the format to WAV
After ripping, open the ripped song in Sound Recorder (Start - Accessories - Entertainment)
Clip the song to your desired ringtone
Click File then Save As... then click Change
Keep the Format but change the Attributes to 22.050 Khz 8 Bit Mono or similar but keep Mono
You can play around with the Attributes to get the best sounding ringtone
Then just email the song to yournumber@vzwpix.com
hope this helps

I'm glad you made this thread, AHHH. I've been wanting to make a thread and let everyone know about this site. It is ZEDGE.NET. I've gotten numerous and hilarious, ringtones for my Blackberry 8330 as well as a few videos i.e. "Jizz In My Pants" and various themes. It's great and doesn't cost a dime, probably because all of the ringtones seem to be made and uploaded by members.
Anyone that tries this site out please let me know how you like it.

went there, loved the choices of ringtones.. but when i recieve the text/SMS it just gives me a link to the website.. when i visit the site via phone it says unsupported text, when i download the tone idk how to email it to my phone.. someone please help
Great advice, Clint. Rep!
Hmm...did you register within the site? When you do so it will ask you what phone you have specifically. Every time I log in it always brings up my phone. The way that I have downloaded ringtones, wallpapers and themes at times is by going on the browser on my phone and bringing up the first page. There is a space when I scroll down that says "Zcode". I look online for whatever ringtone, wallpaper or theme that I want, type in the code and download it onto my phone. If not, I just log into m.zedge.net on my phones browser and download directly onto my phone. Let me know if that helps.
It seems to me like your phone may not be compatible at all then. What type of phone do you have?
