i was wondering how much power ill actually have with my h22 in my 1990 dx accord?? any help on some parts to add power?

As much as i can get on it..for a reasonable price range...anything to add on to the h22 or do to the car to make it faster/lighter

What's a reasonable price range to you?

anything, just kinda lookin for cheaper if u know what i mean...cheap but worth it. got an AEM short ram intake, aem fuel rail, a skunk 2 throttlebody, aem pulleys...i just want to add more,

Well the fuel rail is pretty much worthless if those are the only modifications you have so far. Next up would be header and exhaust. If you want truly noticeable gains though, then you're going to have to go past the bolt-on stage (i.e. boost it or crack open the motor and replace the internals). Power isn't cheap...

yea i know, i got a turbo kit i found, just gotta get it, and also thought bout supercharging it...what u think?

Cheapest power adder... gotta be NOS. Big engines like the H22 love the stuff!

Check out the power increase on this STOCK H22 w/NOS YouTube - H22 EG Hatch w/ Nitrous Dyno

You'd get to use ALL the parts/mods you already have :) Manufactured kits can be a little on the pricey side, BUT, it's actually pretty easy to rig up your own system.

(DIY) Car or Bike, Nitrous Oxide Kit (NOS) <----------- If you have ANY mechanical ability, then go here.

If not, buy a kit.

And its also a closed deck aluminum motor with extremely high compression, I would give that civic 2 more times running on the dyno like that before a rod went flying.

God dude, you are such a dumbass.... Keep your youtube videos and mis-imformation somewhere else.

Some one neg reg this guy I have to spread it..

Great... another hater.

Why would you ever think that an H22 (arguably one of Honda's greatest powerplants ever) would blow a rod, just because its spraying a measly 75 shot of NOS?

FYI, the compression ratio for a stock H22 has NEVER been listed at anything MORE THAN 11:1. That's nowhere even CLOSE to being "EXTREMELY HIGH". 14:1 is EXTREMELY HIGH, kid.

Shit, there are dudes out there with bikes (CP ratio's exceeding 12:1) running NOS with no problems.

The people who blow motors due to NOS are dumbasses, like yourself.

Yep, Because that exactly what I did, I ran around with my motor shot up with Nawz y0 and now I have a JDM style hole in my block.....

It seems funny to me that, it's 6 people to one person and we have all very wisely proven out points and yet, you go off calling up "weirdos" "dumbasses" and "no nothings"

Huh....

Just seems kinda funny to me. Take your lack of knowledge and go play in traffic.

Kthnxbye.

COme on man, work with a brotha, yea?

I love to see Honda's spanking redneck V8's and over priced Euro's.

ANTI-JDM, though... love Japanese engineering, but I'd rather buy my mods from a US vendor.

NOS is a good idea on H-series motors, trust me. Lots of Honda tuners (people that'd rather run hard, every once in awhile) run DYI nitrous kits (wet + dry), and then go money left over for Asian massage parlors after the races :)
