sell your body....and thats it........... :lol;

your going to have to find something you dont want to do for awhile buddy. I had to go throught it. at least you'll have money coming in until you find a better job.

file unemployment. no shame to it at all. if you feel that way, you need a new perspective.

there are a lot of jobs out there. hell, i just found a new job.

It varies state to state, unless the feds inacted something "universal". I know the feds are helping by giving money to allow the states to extend their programs. It's at the very least 11-12 months now in PA.

There are tons of jobs right now, if you're a skilled worker.

unemployment is a joke. i think the max is 380 a week.
wow B, good guess...

Actually with the economic stimulus package it's an extra 25 bucks a week now. Before taxes of course.

Maryland — $380

That's what B was thinking of.

it's not for everyone obviously. it's based on what you made before you were unemployed.

This is true to some extent, but even if you made 10 million a year in Michigan, the most you can receive is 362 (plus 25 for now) a week pre-tax.

I would imagine some of the variation for the states comes from cost of living differences, although that's just a guess.
