You here news that JDM motors are no longer applicable in any way with ref's and BAR for smog?? I heard that...but I hope its not happened up in nor-cal yet

havent heard that.. i dont see why.. as long as it has the USDM smog parts it should be fine

Found one on ebay for $450+shipping

WHAAAAA??!!! I'm not paying that. Wrote him a message hoping to get it cheaper.

Its worth, at the very most, $250 to me...period.

I'm swap out motors every two years and get a D15 or D16 swap to throw in it for a little more then the price for that ecu.

I'll be able to do the swap in an afternoon now.

offer him $250 ... thats how i got mine.. dude was asking $350 for it on eBay.. i offered $250 .. he ended up relisting it for $300.. i said my offer of $250 is on the table still, he took it


then i contact the same guy later to see if he could source a USDM p30 manifold.. luckily his buddy had one.. i paid $90 shipped for that

yea.. if you keep looking you'll find one... i remember seeing a usdm p30 for $150 .. i think it already sold though

Found one for $250 from a recycler.

Not sure if it matters with the swap law.

Guy I talked to at the recycler said that they ARE REF'ing them again.

He said some place in Modesto is doing it for sure
