just jumbling around on some sites in boredom, this one in particular, people seem to say that crx's are getting harder to find and are being charged a lot for them. if they are beginning to become rare im thinking after a few more pay checks i might wanna go talk to this guy whos got 5 of them behind his storage/workshop morton building buy my school. they all have perfect bodies, just no paint and sitting on steelies. recently he added another one back there to his collection and that sparked some more interest in what i could do to have a nice little track car on the cheap. i dont really have the cash for it now, but if people say they are beginning to become harder to find i may pull a few strings and snatch one. ay??

If I had a line on another clean straight no rust CRX I would buy it. I plan on doing a complete restore on mine in the next couple of years.

I've got a clean, straight, no rus, full almost-perfect-condition interior CRX sitting under a car cover in my backyard

It's even got full energy suspension bushings, Skunk2 drag launch suspension, and a nice li'l fuel cell...

Dont tempt me....

Stock CRXs in good condition are rare; otherwise, I'd say there's still plenty of them around.

CRXs are not rare. CRXs that havent been fucked all to hell by ricers or smashed up or torn to bits or rotted half to death are rare.

Just finished a 2 year CRX hunt. All of them I looked at were fucked up in one way or another. Finally found one that is far from perfect, but the body is squeaky clean.

well these cars this guy has, have obviously had all new body panels put on. and different style wheels all around. i think he might collect the ones dying in some dudes back yard and fixes them up to a certain extent. i havent seen the interior on any of them, but a freind at skool said he saw him at a car show with one of them and it had a turbo16 in it, different color paint all over, so maybe hes going for the sleeper look?

they are rare in Tally. Just for one nice clean and stock they go for about 2,500-3k. Its funny though, i would much rather spend that amount on a clean stocker than on one that looks molested with a b- series in it. I like my crx's simple. clean swap, good suspension with front lip. thats it. just for shits and giggle's i'll post up some pics of my old crx's.

I am currently trying to source some stock bumpers for my CRX. I was a dumb fuckin kid and put a shitty ass body kit on :( Plus I have a little bit of rust that needs to get taken care of.

did your lsv go out cuz you didnt put it together as good as it could have?

well i think it all depends on your area, there are crx's around indianapolis like crazy and tons of people have them still in realy good shape

Got him for ya

thanks homie.

My LSV went because i was too broke to buy a type R oil pump. It was shimmed but not enough. By the time i installed one in there it was only a matter od weeks before the bearing went out. I could have taken it apart and fixed it but i knew i would never feel the same about it. so i sold it to some ricer for $1,800:ph34r: i showed it to him and told him what was wrong. He just loved the fact that it was all forged lightweight and balanced. the head had a PnP with s2 springs and retainers. the block had arp head studs and such. it was a great motor. it was so much fun to drive. :(

i put my friends B20 in the blue crx and slod it for 2500. I made $1,000 on the shell. I got a B16A on the red crx and sold it for $2,500. motor was free but i paid 700 for the car and $750 for the paint and i did all the body and prep work. not to good. the shell was great though. best one i have ever owned. But because i was broke with no reliable motor i had to sell it for my pick up
