So...The Nissan GT-R...Personally, I think it looks pretty sweet, but the price tag looks STEEEEP. Nice car though.

It may be overrated, but it's still a VERY nice car.

Its a overall well round car.

But anyway. Why the heck that GT-R is at Carmax of all places. lol
that is something you don't see everyday. A Used GT-R for sale at Carmax. I would love
to see the resale/trade-in value price.lol I should not be any lower. It barely hit 1K yet.

nissan skyline 35 gtr price tag around 80.000$ ;)

personly im not that big of a fan of the new modell but i love the old r32's r33's and r34 gtr not the gtt

Do you hate sex because people got on the bandwagon hardcore?

If I had 80 grand on hand I would have zero problem droping it on this fine peice of automotive craftmanship.

if i had 80k i would buy the new gtr...but i just have a thing against the r34...
and nope..i dont hate the sexwagon..

Yeah, nice if you like being driven rather than driving.:lame:
OVER RATED!!!

:concur:

pictures don't do this car justice. You have to see it in person.. Seriously sexy car.

i actually have the complete opposite opinion of this car
the pictures do it too much justice and dont translate at all how huge and bloated this car looks in person
i spent about 30 minutes at the dealership looking at it from just about every angle while my friend was talking with one of the managers (friend does off lease inspections)
if this car was about 25% smaller it would be amazing... about the size of the 370Z... perfect car... but as it sits the thing is just fucking huge... and its lines dont help hide the fact that its a huge bitch
it looks bloated, like its retaining water or something... its like a fat bitch trying to squeeze her big ass into an outfit 4 sizes too small, and just bulging and stuff popping out all over the damn place

and that is just based on appearance... i can not take anything away from the cars abilities... it does do everything they say it does... and what they were able to get something that huge and bloated to do is nothing short of amazing...
which brings me to my next point and apparently double0si's point as well... it is only able to do the things that it does, because the car removes as much of the driver from the equation as possible... meaning the car itself is doing the driving, and you are simply along for the ride

if i had $80K (more like $100+K after dealer markups) to throw at a car i would head to the opposite end of the sports car spectrum and get a Lotus Exige S 260 ($75K)
no computer assisted driving
no extra weight
no carpet
no added accessories
no navigation
no playstation-esque instrument displays
no fucking cup holders

just a 100% no bullshit "drivers car", designed from its conception to make the driver as directly connected to the road as mechanically possible... its a shifter kart with doors :D

I love the Elise/Exiges. I wonder how the VX220/Speedsters compare even though I don't think they sell them here. Also, I believe the new Sciroccos are around 40k; so I'd assume the Scirocco R would be in the price range of a Exige.

i like 'em, but after reading all the warranty stories about 'em, i won't be buying one (even if i could afford it)
