While putting my motor in we ran across a few problems. The wires were cut, not unhooked. The wiring harness isn't hooking up right either. I bought the engine from noyanusa as suggested either on this board, or honda-tech. Any idea why this stuff happened and isn't letting me get the swap do easily? Another thing, anyone know what the ZC comes out of originally? So that I can cross check with that wiring harness to maybe use what I still have in their. Yes, I am aware this swap is suppose to be a direct bolt on. But for some reason it isn't going in their right.
 
Is this going into a 90-91 CRX? If so then I think you need the ZC that came from the JDM CRX si (there are a few different ZC engines, integra one, brown top, etc...) so are you positive that you have the correct one? I have never done the swap though, those questions just came to mind.

EDIT: Here is an article that explains the different types of ZC, so maybe you can confirm that you have the correct one.

The ZC works now, sorta. The engine starts and everything, but the axels won't work. They just set and spin and work. And idea? Also what did the dohc zc orignially come out of? I need to know so that I can try and find new axles. Or do you know if my stock SI tranny would work with the engine and axles? If it will I might not have to buy new axles.

what transmission do you have? if you have anything other than a ZC transmission, the Si axles will work - if you have a ZC transmission, you will need a ZC intermediate shaft and 90-93 integra axles - the Si axles will not work with ZC transmission - the splines on the transmission end are too small - the ZC engine that bolts into the 88-91 CRX/Civic came in the 88-91 JDM CRX/Civic Si
 
Know where I can get a ZC intermediate shaft? I have the ZC tranny, so I will have to find those axles and this shaft...Hopeing to have car running before monday.

you might try some of the importers like Hmotorsonline, etc. - when someone buys just a long block (without transmission) the importer usually end up with the transmission and intermediate shaft - post WTB ad in classifieds on Honda-Tech, TheZCResource, etc. - check on Ebay - the intermediate shaft must be for ZC with manual transmission, nothing else works
 
Try Nippon motors out in cali. there good peoples bought a few ZC from them.
 
I have a zc intermediate shaft i can sell you, its off a zc auto transmission, I didn't use the tranny so I have never used it, just name your price and pay for shipping. pissoffsol had an article in the swap section about what zc engines are which, check it out you might figure out which one yours is. pm me if you want to buy the part.
 
I am fairly sure that the DOHC ZC came in the CRX Si. The axels you need as stated above are 90-93 Integra Axels. Also check out www.thezcr.com as well. Lots of information on the ZC motors. You said above that the motor isn't going in correctly what year and model car do you have? About the intermitant shaft if you dont buy it from Cheese then call hmotorsonline.com because I had to ask for my intermitant shaft when i bought my motor from them so im sure a few people have forgoten to ask. automatic intermediate shaft will not work with manual transmission - DOHC ZC came in JDM CRX/Civic Si
