I was loking at a stroker kit for my H22...but the crower kit is going for around 2500, I wanted to know if the H23 crank, rods, and pistons would fit into an H22 block. Because I know the H23 stroke is longer and I can go to the junk yard and pic these up for $350. So what should I do?

Waste of money.

Invest in a set of cams, higher compression pistons, IM, TB, etc.

Or turbo the stock engine. Stroker kit on an H22 is just a waste of time, effort and money.

i already have some cams in it full exaust, i would like to turbo it and run it like 6 psi ive heard that those run about 220hp. but how much money will a turbo kit run me for an h22?

You need to do a TON of research. The cams and exhaust that you have now may not be ideal for turbo. And PSI is somewhat irrelevant unless you're talking about a specific turbo. There's all kinds of kits out there for varying prices as well.

You need to research and be more specific about your goals before we can help you...

+1 on what Brutal said.

Even if you have the exact size of the turbo, PSI is really irrelevant. There are too many variables in between the turbo and the combustion chamber that can effect how much power you will make on xPSI. You should definitely do a TON of research and decide on a power goal.

The real question is "How much do you want out of this car?".

Good luck.

im not sure how much i want out of it i kinda want around 210-230hp what is the cheapest way to get that kind of power to the wheels b/c i know that the h22 has around 200 crank hp and about 160 hp to the wheels correct me if im wrong, so what is the best but cheapest way to get hp out of one of these.

I know i need to do a ton of research what the hell do you think im asking questions for?

You're right, the H22 does have about 200hp at the crank and 160hp at the wheels. Focus on getting more of that to the pavement.

"Why the hell do you think I'm asking questions?"
You want me to hold your hand while you're putting this car together too? Grow a pair and go out and research on your own. It's not difficult. I did it on my own, and asked questions when I had specific ones. Anyone can do it.

Asking some people on a forum to spell out for you the exact combination of parts that you should get is NOT research. Research is reading articles on turbo-charging and actually understanding the nuances of it and then asking specific questions when they come up.

Sorry, I know reading can be boring, but don't expect to be spoon-fed here...

I know this thread is a few months old but hopefully someone that knows alot will read this, i decided that im going to do all motor on my 00 lude and was looking into a stroker as well.
