hey guys i'm new to this forum and to car tuning in general.i recently bought a 94 integra ls and it has a d15b2 engine in stead of the the normal b18b1.it runs pretty well but i recently got burned by a toyota levin bzg and i would like to know how to make this engine faster since its pretty costly to swap engines in my country or import them .so any help would be appreciated

holy crap someone put a 88-91 d series motor in that car, no wonder you need more power, just get the b18b that goes in the car and it should double your power. then just go from there

so how much did you pay for it??? just wondering how bad you got shafted

the engine was taken from a 94 civic hatch-back and it was pretty much the only one available according to the previous owner .and i didnt pay much for it but its still a raw deal but dont regret it though.i jus want to know wat are the possibilities for the d15b2. i will do the swap eventually but for now i believe its easier and cheaper to tune

to me its a waste of time and money, save for the proper motor that came in that car

What's the point of spending any money at all on the D15 if you're just going to swap eventually? Just put your money towards the swap and have it that much faster...

I would say you'd get smoked with the B18b in there too. Sorry, I have great love for the 20 valve 4AGE. If only I could get a hold on a Corolla to put one in.
