i just bought a civih that has a d15b8 in it what is the best way to go for more horse power out of the car when u only have 2g to spend on it

not really familar with the b-series. but i think b18.

......is it just me or is this posted in almost the complete opposite of where it should be.......

well if your new the first lesson it's honda not handa lol.. for sale section isnt for information but other then dont be a rice boy and learn the way of the mighty D-series woot!

jdm b-series swap!!!!

for 2k you could swap a b18b w/ a GSR or b16 tranny

i hate to step on toes and what not.. but for 2k lol.. you could piece together a hmt kit and rebuild the motor for boost and smoke any stock b-series not to mention he would spend that just swapping the b into the car and only gaining a few hp when a boosted d-series is perfectly fine to monkey bash a gsr,ls or anything else

yes wrong place.

Maybe think about a used turbo set up for around $2K. It would give you the biggest bang for the buck...

A smaller turbo that spools up quickly would work well with that motor.

8-10lbs of boost

Not much needs to be done to car besides 2.5in exhaust

But you can run a si fuel pump (or whay ever is better for low $)

Some used balanced fuel injectors can be cheap and having them gone through is relatively cheap too

Chip the ecu, tune it and it'll rip...

But, in general, be prepared to know the in and outs of working on it...or you soon will know..but the hard way.

Not sure if it 'wont' work but I think its a bad idea to stay auto.

Keep the motor or sell it...or (if you're so inclined to do so) swap it over to manual

Just my opinion

H22a is the best way to go, had a stock one in my eg and was pulling 207 to the wheels, only cost me $1500 to put together

depends, does he want a car that handles good with decent power or a straight line car with big hp, the b16 is an all around good motor, the h22 is powerfull but heavy and alot of mods to stuff it in there... with the h22 you would need new shocks/springs to make it handle decent, so the price of the swaps are also alot diffrent also
