System Failure Racing
ok, i know there are a lot of threads for this but i couldnt find my answer. i have a H22A engine sitting in my garage. putting the engine in wont be the problem, my main problem will be doing the wiring. i really dont have 320$ for rywire to do it. i was wondering if someone can give me easy STEP BY STEP instructions on how to do the wiring. and i know that i have to add a few wires and 98% of the wires are switched to a different pin on the ecu. help would be great.....the best i seen was extend o2 sensor so it can reach the other one, but doesnt say where you have to place the wires so it will be wired correctly

so i geuss im saying is please give me step by step instructions on how to make a custom engine harness for my h22 it is a 1991 Honda Accord LX and it is an OBD1 H22A engine

use the f22 harness. add wires for vteck and knock. its pretty simple. you will also need to change the dist to run internal coil. there are write ups all over the place

can someone even send me a link to some kind of directions

There arent many directions on how to do it that make sense. Trust me I just finished doing this. The easy way I found to do it was to set the old and new engine next to each other. Take the old harness and attach it to the new engine, you can now see where you will need to lengthen sensor wires and change a couple connectors(get these from the H22 harness). The only hard part is if the h22 is JDM then you have to rewire the dizzy because USDM engines use external ignition coils JDM use internal coils.

its easy get on ebay and search for custom made pins for putting vtec in any car... its like 3 or 4 pins just hook them into a prelude p13 ecu and your bangin other than dizzy wiring if you went with the jdm h22a then you have to splice the <blue> and large yellow wire together on a 92 accord 5spd

usdm h22's should clip right in and work since its external coil to begin with and the forth gen's are mostly external.. its really comon sense... i actually bought a step by step guide somewhere
