CB 600rr?

So I've just been curious, I've seen a lot of CBs for sale recently, and all I can think is Cafe Racer. If i can find something thats got a big enough bay, like a honda 750-4 can they be swapped out or would it be simpler to just build up the 750? This is just something I've been thinking about. Not that I'm gonna get on it tomorrow, just a thought.

If you're going to do a cafe, I'd stick around the 350cc mark. Its not really supposed to be holy shit fast, its supposed to look classic. The big goal of the cafe racers back in the day was to hit 100mph. If you put a 600rr engine in one, you're going to hit mach 3 and then get spokes and brake fragments lodged into your torso.
