The pic of it crossing the sun is awesome.

every time i look at pictures of the cosmos or the big blue from space, the feeling of us being mere insignificant specks really sink in.

^ Yeah but in my case its overcome by the amazingess that is our universe and the fact that we may soon be able to venture out into it.

my boyfriend brought up a really good question.... where the fuck are all the stars? you would think they would be clearer because of the lack of atmosphere.

Exposure. Do you realize how much light is being reflected in space with no atmosphere to block it? You and the people who think the moon landing was fake. A pic of an astronaut with stars behind it would be nothing but a white blur.

Nice. I was just sitting with one of the directors of the Space group in my company for 2 hours tonight at dinner discussing the Hubble mission. Interesting stuff. 8.5 hour spacewalks when they're supposed to be 6.5 gets to be fun...

so because the sun is yellow does it cancel itself out? that wasn't a shiny white blur. i'm pretty sure its a star. i'm just sayin.
