so yeah im just ranting but i was watchin tv and a freaking commercial came on for steak......... i want a freaking steak.........it makes it worse cause i was eating beef ramen noodles but yeah just saying i want a freaking steak

Be happy you can afford ramen noodles. There where times when I was in school that I had bread and that was about it. And trust me, when you get done and out into the world you appreciate things a helluva lot more than before.

This is an idea as well. When I was going to school I worked 60 hours during the summer, 40 in the winter (ready mix dispatcher) had around 40-45 hours of school per week (attended ITT scheduals are weird) plus had a kid to raise. If you are just going to a university getting a regular degree you should have no problem working. I worked at a safeway on night crew for a bit, it wasnt all that bad.

:word: I suck in the department as I have no money, but I got serious bills and I work a ton. I work 32 hours a week right now and I'm finishing up my thesis and practicum project to graduate in 3 weeks.

At that, I'm broke, but I find a way. I eat steak. Once a week, and its ribeye. I'd rather not go buy good booze and buy JOOSE instead so I could afford some prawns, chicken breast, or a good steak.

I still net 2k a month working 3 days a week right now and can cover my bills, carefully.




It's all in what you want me. I work hard. I started college making 9 bucks an hour. I make 20+ now doing better work. No one says you can't have a meaningful job while in school, and its stupid to not build experience regardless if it isn't towards your exact degree.



At that, give plasma. Do odd jobs in the local community. Bust your ass and you'll get by. Me I haven't gotten by for a bit because we ran into a dry spot of work and I ran all my savings out and then some. I'm behind on bills but catching up, and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel where in 3 weeks I get full time work again.

I'll have the night off...one of the 3 furloughs that my company is doing...and the stupid part, is I'll be working all weekend making more money than the furlough saves....

yum...yeah i'm a college student, but my financial aid pays everything hahaha...and I live with my parents hahaha. My dad's a mechanic so when he has too long of a line he gives me a job here and there and that's how I make gas money cause my school is an hour away

financial aid helps out alot!
they give you wayy more then you need just dont spend it all at once like most people do..
