ok, got a few questions im bout to drop the b16 into my 89 si and the motor has 2 lines that thee guy i baught it from have both plugged off, he said they are coolant lines for the intake?? something about helping with the idle? any info on this? also my car is a daily driver and i dont want the inside gutted but would like to drop some weight, anything i could remove that wont kill the daily drivability? thanks guys

Those coolant hoses are there for cold start inviroments.ie: In the winter time when temps are low it helps with cold starts. Some people disconnect these lines so the you wont have heated water warming the air going into your intake. Colder air is more dense and so you can fit more into the same sized area. Hope this helps. ALSO IMO: this is not a mod worth doing as the hp gains are minimal to none on stock set ups.

I would say about the only thing you could do is drop any remaining AC components, though that amount of weight will be minimal.

Just take out the back seat and strip out the trunk. Use wich ever seats you think look the best. Its not going to make that big of a diff.

cant remove the back seat, i got kids i need to haul sometimes, thats y i didnt get a belovid crx

Well dont worry about weight then. Just turbo. Till then rims, intake exaughst and some coil overs.

for a DD you can pull off the heavt material on the firewall in the bay..and maybe the material on the inside by the firewall
