i piece front end diy 89 hatch??

anyone ever tried making the front 1 piece? fenders/hood/bumper all together and folding forward? ive seen a fiberglass front on a crx but i dont care for fiberglass much its to britle

You can't make the hood apart of that one piece because you wouldn't be able to open it to fix or tune it up. As for the fenders and bumper, they can be moulded with fibreglass into one, some people do it that way. Watch out though as fibreglass tends to crack with heat and humidity.

just get a cutter and a welder and get to work, but nah i havent saw one yet other than fiberglass or carbon fiber

i meant 1 piece but making hinges under the bumper so it lifts forward..lol

you could do a metal one just like the fiberglass..just weld it all together..kinda pointless to do a metal 1 piece..the whole point of it is to reduce weight
