sweet looking car....doesn't take much to make a 350 very fast...long tube headers/ agressive cam/and head work and you can get that car to 425hp

I'd like to see proof of this, because some of the 60s muscle cars were 350s making 325 hp but would barely make the 1320 in 14 seconds. The 427s that made 425+ I could see being underrated, but not by 400+ hp.

well if i can dig it up ill show you, i remember it was on hod rod tv or nation or some spped channel show like that, and they was having a dyno shoot out with all the big hitters back then the only rule was it had to be bone stock just like it was the day it was made, i remeber the hemi won the event with 800+ the olds came in second with 700+ and i forget the others but ford was in there somewhere. this was on a engine dyno so they was messuring at the motor not the wheels. but anyhow they went on to talk about how crazy under rated they was back then.

The dodge chargers with 426 hemis in the 60s were rated at about 400 hp i think, but put out well over 500... I'm sure others were under rated too...

the problem is they only run 14's. but it's because most are solid steel. those bitches are heavy. laugh if you want, but if you put that engine in a 240sx it would scream.
