if the motor says d16z6 but it dont have a solenoid its missing or its a non vtec head

it will be on the front right were the motor and tranny come together, about a inch flat spot that will say d16z6 or d15b7 i think

not my car but i dont have a pic of my engine and this is what it looks like

where is the soileniod ??

it willl be right beside the pvc valve on the valve cove it will have a green plug on it

any 88 or newer d series but stick to 92+ because those are hydo like yours

just becouse it dosnt say vtech dosnt mean its not i have a buddy with the 93 si too. and his valve cover dosnt say vtech and it is.

Hahahahaha!!!

I'm sorry but it makes me laugh every time I see it spelled that way.

Ya my Si doesn't say Vtach on it either. Like mentioned above just look for the vtach solenoid with the green plug on it.

Hehehehe

I have the same motor. Mine has the vtec. My plug itsnt green tho. I did a swap and snagged a plug that had the same connections. I have a stage 1 cam from comp cams in and when it engauges at 4800rpm you can hear it. It sounds so alsome! ^_^ lol
