My '92 hatch suspension is very basic. I have Neuspeed race springs and KYB shocks...and camber kits.

I am looking into getting a little more performance out of the suspension and was just going to start with a strut tower bar but keep seeing these cheap combo kits. The few people I talked to says it'll be a big improvement but I'm skeptical

I always thought welded or one piece designs were optimal but thought I'd get some feed back from you guys on the link below:

92 93 94 95 Civic EG EH EJ Front Rear Strut Bar Combo:eBay Motors (item 290320393585 end time Jun-04-09 00:22:37 PDT)

with ebay..
all I gotta say is you get wat you pay for basically..
but my cuzin got a set of strut bars from ebay and they turned out pretty good so go for it..

:D get what i have ttein electronic damping force controller awsome set up :D 2000 civic si handles like a beast! :)

a solid bar like the neuspeed one is the best bet, but the cheap ebay bars are better than nothing. i noticed a difference in handling, particularly when i put the rear on.

if you get a hinged bar, bolt it snug to the car, unbolt it and have the hinges welded. BAM! cheap solid bar.

solid bar > hinged..... and i agree.. Neuspeed 4pt bar is the best bet up front.. it attaches to the UCA rather than the shock tower

Not everything on ebay is cheap.
I got a full set of Skunk 2 pro S series coilovers for 600$ free shipping.
Like 200$ cheaper then they retail for, and were authentic with skunk 2 warranty card etc.

You just need to know what to look for, and how to look for it.

i agree with turbomirage...
but if you do not want to weld them the ebay ones work just as well...
hell skunk2,tanabe,tenzo and all them i think have hinged ones

Ya....most are hinged. I always thought neuspeed was the way to go....or teg type r b/c they're all solid like a rock.

I figure for $70 shipped....four pieces...better then nothing.

Thanks for the input guys. Just wanted some feedback....glad to know someone has seen the set up on something.

neuspeed bars ftw, IF you can find them. i think neuspeed stopped producing them all together, which sucks.

But, a bigger bang for your buck (and way way more noticeable) that noone has mentioned: Sway bars. New, bigger, beefier sway bars with nice firm bushings will do wonders for a suspension.

get the upper/lower/front/rear kit..
you an also get the b/c pillar and have a rigid as fuck chassis
:)

your springs/shocks are 21324123 times better than those egay coil overs.

strut tower bars are a waste of money imo.

you want handling? get a huge rear sway and learn how to drive with some over steer from a tail-happy fwd car :)

exactly my point..
thats still your 600 bucks over his 60 or 70 dollar combo strut bars!

I figure its not a bad buy for $70.

They say no mod's needed to install...so it should bolt up with little effort.

I just want to be able to corner a little better....it's not like I expect to pull 1.3 G's on the skid pad. I have 14" Del Sols and my 185-60 series tires can only handle so much anyways.

hope they work out... i dont think they'll do much though

Anyone tried them?

If they flex a lot (b/c its aluminum) then it would be silly.

I might just get an old teggy upper strut, clean and paint it (looks clean and stock)

And do the lower sway bars later (like was stated by "B")

B:

What rear sway bar would you recommend?

Oh im not saying its the price, i was only making a point that ebay isnt always knock off junk products. Sometime you catch legit deals.
