1st of all im a long time follower of hondaswap never had the need to post something TILL NOW that is...
I have an obd0 LS swap everything had been working fine running strong until putting in my system i touched some wires together behind the radio and blew out some fuses no big deal... Until I left the car on for i'd say 10-15 min, and then it would conk off. I changed spark plugs, dizzy, coil,. Now yesterday after not turning it all after a week it wont turn over what Gives???? I will post pics of the car tomorow. Oh and I have no intake.

i got a red top optima batt. So plenty of juice there i will def. check my starter tomorow im at work now. Thanks I'll let u know if that works..

well if the car is not even turning over its got to be that or a bad connection or fried ecu.

thats cool we all had to start at some time

So, I finally had some time this weekend to work on the car. Well sord of I popped the good check the oil, goodcheck the battery connections good. I turned the key in the ignition and by some miricale it turned right on 1st time. I took ity for a spin and I noticed theres a leak from the block. I already replaced the valve cover gasket so its not that. its pretty bad because, its dripping to the exaust manifold and the heat from the actually motor is causing smoking. What do you think its coming from. Im going to take some pics so u guys can get a better idea.

it could be lots of things, need to try and clean it up and narrow down the area of where its coming from

im gonna say 15s 14s if your good

I cleaned the engine and it turned out that the leak was coming from the cam seal. I replaced that with a golden eagle cam seal. Now the car is leaking from the oil pan more specifically the gasket. I already replaced that gasket twice. And it seems like the heat shreds it up at the seal. What do I do??

first off the ecu does not have anything to do with the car tuning over the starter is wired through its on relay system its sounds like a bad starter sometimes starters will work sometimes they crap out on you right before they completely go out you can get a local electric shop to rebuild it for around 70 dollars or cheaper. as for the leak you just need to clean it up like the other guy said and try to find the source if the car is still running fine the first things i would check are the oil pressure switch on the back of the block next to the knock sensor, the v-tec solenoid close to the distributor, the distributor itself can leak through the o-ring on the part that connects it to the cam or in to the cap itself. start there first.

Thats cool about the starter, that can be but i have a ls theres not vtec solenoid... I found out where it was leaking from, the cam seal, and that oil pan gasket replaced both and its running like a champ right now exept all the old oil that spilled on the exaust manifold going to have to drive it till it burns that shit up. Than wash off wats left.
