i know the p75 will work, but i was lookin for other options, and tryin to stay away from ebay/junk yard... if anyone knows of a good site, let me know
Well what are you planning on doing with this? If the engine is mostly stock and you're wanting to leave it that way, then the P75 will be your best bet. If you're planning on building/boosting/tuning, etc., then I'd go with a P28...
yeah i was planning mild modding, and i had contacted hondata about the p28 just yesterday, its $295 for the ecu + the $595 for the s300.... holy crap $890, i paid less for the car haha .... how much is a p75....

If you're just going to do bolt-ons then a stock P75 should be sufficient. Once you've added your bolt-on parts be sure to reset the ECU and take the car for a spin so it can adapt to any new intake or exhaust mods that you've done.
And yes, the transmission type does matter when you're picking an ECU...
