i want to be prepared so have any of you guys have any ideas?
Things we already have: harness, mounts, custom header, ecu

things i dont know are : axles, shift linkage, half shaft, possible wiring nighmare? anything you guys have done or read please feel free to fill me in. I will be doing a right up as best as i can with pictures.

ANY IDEAS?

Down for this. Sorry can't help you much I will be closely watching from the sidelines. I want to see pictures. Goodluck!

Wasn't there something about this in a recent issue of Hondatuning?

yeah but I want to know what the problems are. i like the write ups but its the issues i want to know about first.
*searching hondatuning*

well we got the harness, hasport mounts, hasport axles and K-pro ecu already ordered. gonna try to take the H23 out this week and send the car off to paint. then we will go ahead tacle the K. stay tuned for this little project.

I'll try to take shots of the car before we take the motor out if i can find my camera. :(

Good luck man... I'm sure it'll be sick when its done.

It's kinda funny, I got the shit flamed out of me for suggesting a K in a 95 Lude project I had 3 years ago...

Sorry I can't be of any help though. I got all the parts and just got the h23 out when the guy who owned the shop I worked at got arrested and had all the property on the premises taken, including my project.

But I digress...

Have fun and good luck... It'll be hella fun to drive when its done!

I know where it is!!

Good luck with the build! I'll be following this one.

:(

i dont think its a good idea for the money but hey, he already got the motor is determined to do it so oh well. Its not smart to stick a 160hp K when you could get the same if not better results from building the H up.

Only thing thatsfine is the fact that he plan on using the 2.4ltr's for later and do k24/k20 all motor. I told his brother (owner is in the army) he prolly wont feel a difference besides the torque. I hope i'm wrong:ph34r:

this car is getting a full done up. My buddy has already begun the custom stereo system. Its getting painted inside and out AND of course the k swap

stick a new si head on there and it will be great

slogan of the military...."a fool and his money are soon parted". the biggest waste of money EVER....

go to war = hardest money ever earned

spent on honda = biggest waste of money ever....

well enough bitching. check out www.k20a.org. they are pretty much the premier K-series site. lots of parts there too.

well the car is still sitting there for now. we need to take the motor out and send it to paint. then we can tackle the K. we have all been too busy lately so that sucks. i'll try to take pics of the car and stuff for your viewing pleasure.

the owner doesnt have all that money. luckily we have gotten alot of it either at cost, used or bartering for work. like the paint job and such. the motor, mounts and stuff he did buy online. I dont think its a big waste of money. afterall its his money anyway. we'll see. it will be a sweet ride when its done with. quiet with all the dynamat, clean crisp audio system with redon interior. and of course a low mileage motor with plenty of torque for the lude.
