Watanabe Whore!!!
Rest In Peace
Well, I looked out of the garage one day...saw a rabbit in the lawn...took some pictures..

then where it was sitting...I looked and found 6 babies...

left it alone for two days, and the wife watched the hutch all night and morning, and the mother never came back...

worried...I waited one more day, tossed some grass over the hutch to see if it would get disturbed...and nothing...

so tossed them in a box, got them out of the rain, and fed them grass and leaves... one little guy didn't look like he would make it...but he did...and all of them got plump again....

So I took two car ramps, a shelf, a dustpan, and put them together to keep the neighborhood cats away from them, and we'll see how they fair...

rabbit

I had to throw a Z in the gallery just for fun.

Bunnies!

We had the same situation about 5 years ago, but with itty bitty babies, still pink with their eyes shut. The mother never came back, we tried to bottle feed them with tiny little rabbit bottles the vet gave us but they didn't make it. :( Apparently rabbits have one of the lowest survival rates when away from their mothers that young.

Your guys seem to be doing really well though. :D

we nursed a mourning dove back to health once. one died but one survived.

on a side note, whatever you used to cover up your front lp really reminds me of mater off of cars. your z could be maters retarded cousin with a silver tooth or something.

Clayton can you handle the bunniez or are they too skittish?

Is it even safe to touch em? They ARE wild animals . . .

good deal man..
keep em safe and let em live..hell make em outdoor pets,,treat em good and they will stock around

Rabbits are one of those animals that are nice to look at, but I wouldn't want to own any ever for any reason, really.

You can hadle them when they are very young...because they are natually taught to remain motionless when in danger. These guys are in the escape mode now when you reach for them...so thats good, and the way they should be.

It's not really safe to touch any wild animal, but these guys were to cute to leave out in the rain and starving... they do carry the normal stuff any wild animal has, like flea's, tick's, lyme, lice..and other bacteria's... so gloves and waching your hands offten is needed.

And as for all wild animals.... It is illegal to keep them... unless you have a license or permit from the state.

Is that like it's illegal to run a car with no catalytic converters, and an exhaust louder than 95dB?

Gotcha, thx.

Make a video of the bunnies and put it on youtube. I bet it gets plenty of views.
