Mid June, and I'm still wearing a friggen hoody and waiting for the damn rain to stop.
 
It was soooo humid in the hangar tonight. 75 degrees felt like 95. The ground was soaking wet. I "checked my e-mails" in the air conditioned trailer quite a few times.
 
you guys are crazy living up north... i dont know why anyone does.

the water is 84 degrees if that tells you anything about how warm it is here :D
 
Rainiest year up to this point for Chicago in all of recorded history. :ph34r: :eek:

It would almost have to stop raining for the rest of the year to not break the record for most rain ever.

Its only because I moved here. You can blame me. If I hadn't the forecast would be sunshine, rainbows, and gumdrops. but then Injen would move here and F it up anyway. (P.S. This post started out completely hetero, I don't know where it went wrong) (P.P.S. for PC purposes "wrong" should be read "alternative lifestyle."
 
global warming is bs. it's based on sea temperatures. land temperatures have been on the decline. polar ice caps may be melting, but that doesn't directly relate to warmer temperatures.
 
This is why they want to change the name to 'Global Climate Change', but it'll never catch on... Like Uranus and Pianist. :p

It's not just that things get warmer, everything gets thrown out of whack... Some places get warmer, some get colder, ice ages, rain, snow, drought, dogs and cats living together, etc.
 
Remember a few years ago when it was a global ice age we where worried about? Scientest wanted to launch rockets that would dump tons of carbon to help insulate this little blue planet we are on.
 
I work on an airport ramp (at night mind you)... In a huge field blocking no wind... In between two rows of large buildings practically creating a wind tunnel... In fvcking Chicago!!! I too know the cold of a -30 or less wind chill but still this 95 actual temp and with the humidity hovering around 50 percent a heat index of 105 can blow me! I wanna start hearing about a Global "chill the fuk out, Mother Nature!"
