so who all is going to see the new Transformers movie this weekend besides me? i cant wait to see it!

I honestly wasn't a huge fan of the first one. I thought it dragged on a bit too long for the type of movie that it is. Hopefully this new one will be better...

I'll probably go. Looks like it'll be a good one to see on a giant screen.

I plan on seeing it with the little woman. It looks pretty darn good.

I might see it tonight! :p

nah, we won't get it till tomorrow, but I'll put the movie together. so I'll sorta watch it while its whizzing past my face in the form of film.

:werd:
I don't get how people can be incredibly harsh on movies, even when walking out of the theater: "that sucked!". I'm the easiest movie-sell in the world... In one way or another, I've enjoyed and been entertained by every single movie in the theater I've ever seen in my entire life. There hasn't been a movie, ever, that I felt I actually wasted my money on. So for me I'm sure it'll be a good movie. :)

Actually that's not true. In my whole life, there's only one exception, one movie I felt I had wasted my time and money on. I don't even remember the name of it, but it was the late 90's or early 2000's... it had Bill Murray in it, he was an alumni or teacher at a university at odds with a younger student, and the commercials made it look like they would play off each other in an interesting way. It turned out to be the most boring and unentertaining movie I've ever seen. Ever. I'm one of those people that gets totally sucked into a story, I fall into whatever I'm watching and get completely engrossed. This was the only movie to ever break my suspension, due entirely to the fact that it was so boring. I've never once before or since, sat in a theater, no longer watching the movie, wondering if I should leave.

And of course watch someone know what movie I'm talking about and it turn out to be some Oscar-winning drama or something. :p

EDIT: I was right, after looking through IMDB I think it was Rushmore. Rated rather high, alot of the reviews go both ways though... some absolutely hated it, some loved it. Alot say to watch it a second time if you didn't like it... hmm. I was only 17 when I saw it, maybe I should give it a second chance

I hate movie critics, the same way I hate music critics. I just want to listen/watch for the entertainment value. If it's something I'd be interested in it'll grab my attention more, but even if its not I'll still enjoy it.

I can usually find something good about a movie, be it the score or the way it is shot. It is rare for me to feel like I wasted time/money/energy after I watch a movie.

i've heard this one is like 2.5 hrs long

Fuckin Shia LaDouche ruined what could have been a revival of a childhood classic. Too bad he didn't die when his drunk ass flipped his car. I won't be watching this movie, nor will I waste my bandwidth on pirating it.
