I've got a 92 Civic hatchback with a GSR swap, and ever since I've had the car it has had a high pitch whine while accelerating. I've had the car for about 4 months now, and I thought it could be something in the tranny, but then I swapped the tranny from the 93 GSR tranny which was in it, to an LS tranny with a GSR final drive, and it still had the same noise. I also have a Quaife LSD which I had in both trannys, I thought maybe it was some kind of whine coming from the LSD, but my mechanic said he has ran those for a while and that they shouldn't make any noise. My mechanic also mentioned it could be wheel bearings. Any other ideas?
