Prelude transmission in accord

I'm swapping my F22B2 out in my 96 Accord for a H22A1 in a 98 Prelude. Since I have an automatic, I need to be able to have the sportshift mode, like in the Prelude. Right now the Prelude engine and transmission will be hooked up to my Accord shifter.

My question is, will the gated automatic shifter out of that model prelude fit in the console of my accord, and will it work properly?

Maybe concerns I may run into???

If the engine is from a 98 Prelude, then it should be an H22A4, not an H22A1. As for the transmission question, why not just swap it to manual?

well i want to swap it to a manual, but heard its very time consming and costly... any suggestions?

im pretty sure you'd have to get prelude axles (or accord half shaft), accord 5-spd pedals, accord 5-spd linkage and wire reverse lights. im pretty sure you will need tranny mount/s too unless it comes with it.
