First off i would like to know if its worth it to swap a H22A1 in to my 94 integra?

And second i have searched and searched, but i cant seem to find information on the swap.

I would like to know whats all the items i need to make the swap work.

And if anyone knows step by step instructions anywhere?

The H22A1 motor is obd2, my integra is obd1.

what axles will work for sure?

What ecu would work the best?

What wire harness will i need?

I heard that the h22 shift linkage wont work?

Does anyone know of any common known problems with this swap?

I mean really any help would be much appreciated!!

Like i said i have searched online alot and cant seem to find anyone with positive answers.

Even if anyone knows of a site that can point me in the right direction would be great!!

Thanks for any info, and im pretty new to swaps, but i appreciate any help at all.

try to read up on this site a bit, its been covered and dont do what this guy ^^ says

Get a 92-95 obd1 harness from a older prelude,,,,,,

and shift linkage get a hydro conversion 4 ur integra

u need a p13 ecu too

All 94+ Integras are factory-equipped with hydraulic transmissions you tard. If you don't know what you're talking about then please don't comment.

To the OP: Swapping an H22 into an Integra is the same as swapping one into a 92-95 Civic, and there should be no shortage of write-ups and FAQs on how to do that...

so everything like everything you need to do in order to swap a h22a1 into a 92-95 civic its the exact same to put it in my integra?

i would go with the a4 obd1 engine ,and trans and go with the shifter cables ,mounts and dont use the p13 it is a peace of crap, use the chipped p28..

if you are planning any future mods.ie:turbo, nos,sc ect....... then i would get a hondata ecu or chrome.....something that is programable..... do you mhave the engine allready?

hah , well apparently the guy doesnt know that much about swaps , so lets take it easy on him.....

If you're talking about the OP, then I agree. If you're talking about the idiot that butted in with wrong advise though, no apologies there. If he doesn't know what he's talking about, then he shouldn't be giving advice.

The Civic and Integra share the same chassis, so yes, it's essentially the same swap. The only difference is that you're going to be replacing your B-series engine instead of a D-series engine.

Is there such a thing as an A4 OBD1 engine? I don't think that there is. The H22A4 was used in the 97+ Preludes, so they should all be OBD2...

thanks alot guys, and no i dont have the motor yet, but i know someone thats selling one with the tranny, and im pretty sure axles, but he said the motor has a stripped crankshaft or something like that. If i do buy it i was going to take it to my friend to help me with the swap and to replace the crank.

there asking 600 for the motor with the bad crank, 5 speed tranny and the axles. good price or no?????

ehh i dunno... a fucked crank could cause some other problems... if possible remove the head and oil pan and inspect each side of the block (top and bottom insides)

if all is good (plus somewhat low mileage) with the crank and maybe the rods bad, then I'd go for it...

i have h22a eg shell set up.... i going to put my b16a motor in there but how i could fix it back to B and D series mount supporter? does it worth it....

search then start your own thread

ok whats exactly did you want to do, a straight h22 swap using its tranny(which isnt realy being done anymore), or you want to go H2B which is way easier and uses the power range of that h22 much better by using a short geared bseries trans-(gsr,type r,b16)
