Yes.. I may be trading my Neon for an Si. Hard to believe, but there's a EP3 for sale for less than what my Neon is worth, so there's a small chance that I can get it. I'm about to go check it out after I talk to the college peoples. I will return with pics and opinions and/or an Si.
 
hmmmm....trading an $8000 honda for a $3000 neon...that sounds legit...
 
I would bring an OBD2 scan tool, and write down serial numbers on everything.

When I got home, I'd google the serial numbers.
 
Well... this douchbag told me he would do 2500 for my Neon. So I chuckled about it and walked. I mean I paid 500 more than that so fuck them.

The Si looks pretty good tho.. It was up on one of those stands so I had a chance to check out the under body and all, to see if it had any leaks, and it was pretty clean. They want 6000 for it and it has 114k miles, it's gold and 100% stock.

What pisses me off is that he wants to try and give me the trade in value, which is low compared to the private party value. Whereas the Si's trade in value is almost identical to the pp value.

And I did take one pic, but then dude said what he'd give me for a trade in, so I stopped. I told him he was fucking nuts lol

I know it's 'just' a Neon, but I think in this case it's cheaper to keep her.
 
well it sounds odd to me, i mean dont the si book for about 2500 more than the neon, on any level pp, trade in ect ect

you have to realize who a lot of these people deal with. it's probably one of those shit-hole dealerships that "yo hablo espanol" or "we finance everybody". If it's not a dealership it's a scam artist.

fuck buying anything that isn't stock

fuck buying from anybody under 25
 
It wasn't on jackstands in a shop, it was morew like those stands that they use to make it stand out from the rest... There was also a Eclipse GS-t in there, but when he said what he would give me I was like ffuuuuuckk u.
 
Yeah, if you were coming to look at it and you alerted them to that, and made an appointment, they should have pulled it down for you.
