So much with a little D
Hi Guys,
Here is my delema... I am looking for a Manual Boost Controller to get 16 to 18 psi boost out of my gt35r82, the wastegate is a Tial with a .6bar spring = 8.75 psi... The problem is that there is so many CRAPY MBC out there... Please tell me your expirience with yours and which one would be the best purchase for the price...
I am looking fr one that could have a Fast Respond, Steady and that can hold the pressure....

Thanks

turboXS is probably one of the better mbc's. you're generally only good to double your gate spring. if you're looking for 18, it's not going to happen. 16 is likely though.

any of this Turbo XS would do the same (Turbo XS standard or the turbo XS BC-HPBC) would be able to get the 16 psi on any of this two?

i have turbo xs. and it works really well. i am very pleased. i paid 75$ new for mine.

as of now i am about 10 or 11 psi. but next month i will be at 20+ but i have a few more upgrades to do and a new ram horn mani. and a tune ofcourse. i probly got 270-290whp. as of now.

with the turboXS MBC you would be able to increase the boost up to 20 psi or you need to change the spring of the wastegate too?

yes and you will need to change your spring. u can increse the boost to 20 psi if u change the spring out to at least a 10psi. if u got with a 15psi spring then increase it with your boost controller u can get 20 psi easily and have room to put more to your engine in the future. a 15psi wastegate spring can snag you about 30psi with a boost controller

blitz also makes a quality one also and go fast bits i run turboxs on both my evo with a 50trim 22psi and my b18turbo eg hatch at only 8psi-12psi

Since I have the S300 i decide for the Hondata Boost solenoid... I sent Yesterday the Pre-socket P28 to get installed the boost capabilities... With this set up i would be able to run the psi on each gear... and wouldn't be a problem to run the 16 or 18 psi that I'm looking for...
