Swap or Dont swap?

Ok well i have a d16y7 in my 00 Ek hatch and it has like 150,XXX miles. I was thinking about doing a mini swap with the y8 so i could make it vtec but do you think this would be pointless since i have hella miles? Or should i just but a d16 vtec swap and be done with it? Im new to honda so please give any suggestions.

save your money for a b18 or a b16.

Its a fun swap to do and can be done on the cheap.

150k Miles is fine on a honda, as long as its been taken care of.. It'll haul you around for 300,000+. Start by doing a leak down and compression check on your current motor.. if its healthy, then go for it!

I am partial to b18s. However, we could help you better if you could also tell us a budget you have. How much do you have to spend? For example, if your budget was 3,000 we would say drop in a b18. For lower budgets, we would say otherwise
