i was thinking about going with a t3/t4 at about 15-18lbs and installing the mahle gold piston and rod combo and a boost stage 2 brian crower cam i just dont know if the stock h22 valves, springs and retainers can handle it.

hell yes it can!!! but you have to have the mahle h22 -7cc dish pistons. and some good rods. now when you put these in you will also need to upgrade your water pump, gates timing belt and alot of other stuff too. my head is just about all stock. as of now iam about 270-290whp. but next month i will be at about 450-500whp. now i have heard of 750whp non-sleeved blocks with mahle h22 golds and built everything else of course but..... i wouldnt go over 500 or 600whp

depends how many miles the head has, if there is a alot of miles on it the springs could be too weak and at high rpms could equal valve float, i would say buy valves and springs, better safe than sorry.

It should be fine. But when they send your block off to get machined than have them check the head at the same time.
