its too bad, thats a beautiful tree, but the biggest concern i would have is it falling on the house during a bad storm, so it would go anyway.

good luck.

My good friend owns a tree company and works for the Town of West Hartford doing that shit...did you commit yet? He lives in Bristol i can ask him to do an estimate....

about 4 hours and it's stumped..

now a few more hours for the stump grindings and clean up:(

Great job done...worth the $1700+$100 tip....

but, I'm skeptical about how deep they went. As long as I can toss a 2" paver down, and it's flat...I'm happy. If the root rots in 5 years...and it sinks...I'm prolly not going to be here that long...but if it does..I can back fill for cheap..

They cleaned up, took the shavings except whats left of the stump to keep a trip hazard so they can't be sued, and I will recommend them, and possibly call them for other jobs.

It's so fucking awesome...I can now park my car in the driveway...and not worry about acorn's and raking a shit ton of leaves anymore.

And I can park in front of the garage finally....

I'm thinking this is the 14th tree cut down on this property in the last 20 years... they grow so fast....
