So I found a 2000 B20B motor online for $350 (60K miles)

LS intake manifold
Some 'stage 1 clutch'
Some B series Header
No dizzy

My question is that I wonder if I put OBD1 Dizzy/Alt....is there any other wiring issues?
I figure its the same as an OBD2 LS in an OBD1 car.....

I dont see why not, the b20b is an 84mm bore LS engine.

Was thinking about buying it and just sitting on it for a future build but he sold it when I called about info

I figured it was the same too...thanks for the reply

There is more to it then that. You will need to convert to obd1 your engine is obd2 rywire.com or hasport can supply you with the correct harness. You will also need 99-00 Civic Si motor mount brackets ( one by the timing belt, rear trans bracket and the ac bracket from the b20 or a Del Sol B16 if you want ac) as well as a 94-01 Integra or 99-00 Si shifter linkage. Also keep in mind your local emissions laws in most places a b20 is not a legal swap. It is considered a light truck engine and is not legal to swap into a civic. Not that it isnt a great swap it is a torque best. And is even better with a Vtec head, can we say 200 hp. A B18a1 would be a very simple swap into your civic, its is almost a bolt in swap. I know that you will not need to change anything on your harness it all plugs in. B18a1s can be found for very cheap.

With the Integra mounts he can bolt the B20 into his EG. He doesnt have to convert anything, just use the Obd1 harness and Ecu with the B20. Use a 94-00 Integra shift linkage, intermidiate shaft adn axles. this is the mose common chassis choice for a B series swap because of its cost and easiness. A 92-95 LS ecu will work just fine.(PR4 or P75)

Thanks.....Intenseneal acted like I was looking for my first swap. I don't know what he was trying to say in terms of what i didn't know. It was a thought on a possible future project. Always use the wiring harness for the car or an OBD1 LS harness....duh. No axles....no transmission. Just a thought on a future project with a bottom that had enough torque to track race (B16 sucks for track racing b/c you can't get out of a corner fast enough) Thought of using my B16 Head But then I came to my senses and remembered....

I hate Frankenstein motors!!
