i have an LS/Vtec motor out of my car cuz we swapped in a GSR hoping to turbo and make more power
anyway it is 99 LS Block with 00 civic si b16 head and gsr cams!
ls has maybe maybe 80k now? i pulled it out if running LS with 68k a little over a year ago and probl put 10-15 on it maybe?
all timing belt water pump etc. when i did the swap
will come with motor engine harness, alternator, and disributor!
also Skunk2 intake mani with stock fuel rail and inj and stock throttle body
i have stock exhaust manifold to if you want but it has been modified for 3in exhaust with no cat!
anyway 700 if you dont want the intake manifold fuel rail TB etc!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just recently found what these engines are. I heard they dont last? is this a good buy for 900?

could this be swapped into a CRX?

would have done more research before asking you guys, but I wanna snatch it up if it's a good deal.

1. It all depends on who built it and how well it was built.
2. Yes
3. 900 isn't bad, but its hard to say without knowing the build and condition of the motor.

honestly most lsv dont last because they think that since its got a better head that they can rev higher than stock rev limit..
i would hear it run in the car..then i would get it put new bearings and arp rod bolts and you should be good..
also yes 900 is a very good price..
and yes its fairly easy to put in a rex

boom. That's the answer.

There is no reason why a LS/V won't last any longer than a stock b18a1/b. If you are keeping stock internals, keep the rev at the stock rev(for the b18a/b). However, you can always change the internals, ie. cams/gears/pistons/rods and increase the revs.
