I started it today. Ate fruits and drank a weaker 8oz mixture of the juice. I eat all throughout the day normally and that 8oz held me over for a long time. Tomorrow I'm gonna eat a few servings of fruit in the morning and then nothing but the juice from there on out. I'm mainly doing it just cause I like trying new stuff to keep life exciting and I'm really curious. I could also lose maybe 10ish lbs, so if that's part of the package, I'm not complaining. I'm pretty sure I remember a few members here already doing it. Any suggestions, info, heads up?

You basically live off of a liquid mixture of water, lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper. It's a detox, so you should still have solid stool from what your body stores even though you aren't consuming any fiber or solids. Don't worry, I'll take pictures :eek: For the few that may be interested, I'll keep you updated.

@E that won't happen, because the shit won't be solid enough to hold his body weight. Think more chocolate milk. :p
 
I can understand the water lemon and cayenne pepper. They all are alkalising foods. But maple syrup? Are you sure this isn't just some drunky's concoction? And that he didn't just detox and lose weight from pukeing his guts out? Sounds a little weird but ill wait for the results.

The amount of maple syrup you add is supposed to have enough calories for a day. Would be a bit silly to go without any calories. This has been around for a long time and I personally know a 2 people who had great success with it. Because I'm not getting any fibers or solids I have to do a salt water flush at the end of each day. The first part of the movement will be like awptickes said, but the rest should be solid waste that your body stores. I will learn for sure by tomorrow.

I did this for 7 days last October. I used the Master Cleanse recipe as well. although I did drink water and non-pulp juices as well. pretty much had a glass of liquids every 1-2hrs. I'll tell ya I never felt hungry once. The hardest part is having the will power to be around other people that are eating. Good luck you're going to learn alot about yourself doing this.
 
It really doesn't taste too bad, but it's harsh if you put too much pepper in it.

I plan on drinking just the cleanser and water, but I'll prb drink some juice too. Food has been all around me since I started, but I've been good so far. Guess you don't notice till you're on a diet. A coworker is actually eating something that smells awesome right now, but I'm full from this stuff. Thanks for the luck, I might need it soon.

What eg6 said lol. It's supposed to be a healthy detox.
 
don't forget to take your laxatives. you won't be able to shit if you don't.

also, be VERY careful as soon as you start eating regular food again. people tend to binge after they cleanse. it is very easy to gain the weight back after this. I think there are a couple other threads about it if you try a quick search.

another problem is the lack of protein. you WILL lose muscle mass if you do this for extended periods of time.
 
I did the master cleanse as a method of fasting. I wasn't in it for the weight lose.

i mean seriously... who the hell becomes a vegetarian just to prove to themselves that they have the willpower to stop eating delicious meats
