I'm currently pulling a motor out of my donor car which is a 92 Integra, with the obvious obd1 b18a1 matted to the Ys1 cable tranny. I know that I'm going to use the axles, wire harness, ecu and clutch peddle assembly from this car.. but my only concerns are what swap mounts do I need, considering that I'm going from a D-series auto to a 5-speed b-series "cable trans", also I'm pretty sure that my D-series auto trans has a electronic speed sensor on the trans... and the b18 has a cable speed sensor, how I do fix this problem that I'm going to face with my cluster..
Also I'm about to order my delsol b16 shift linkages sometime in a few weeks, unless I find someone selling them before hand.

Thanks, Joe.

The pedals should change over...I guess. Have you investigated that already?
You can use any 94-01 Integra motor mounts....use them all (some are interchangeable but I use them all)
I guess the axles are the same. I just don't know if the '92 axles are the same length as 94-01 Integras and 92-95 Civics
You can use any 94-01 Integra shift linkage too. JDM USDM what ever. B16 B18 and you're good to go

Need the hydraulic transmission (they make a kit for cable trans but I say get a newer transmission)
The pedals off the Acura will probably be fine but I think you need the hydraulic lines in the engine bay for a del sol
(from Clutch Master cyl.. to Slave cyl.)
Master Cylinders may be the same but you should look into it too.

Okay a few good things to know, but.. the shift linkages have to be Del sol b16 specific in order for them to work, o using integra linkages is out of the question, also I'm wanting to use the cable trans because I don't want to have to go through the trouble of running hydraulic lines and sourcing out all the parts master/slave cyl on top of that a hydraulic trans, when I already have a cable trans that works in my possession..

I hate cable but if you want it....cool.

I thought its all good to run Integra (94-01) shift linkage. Both B16 and 94-01 Integras fit on my EG which I thought was really similar to yours in those aspects.

I have Gen2 JDM B16A shift linkage in my garage. But its the same as my LS shift linkage
(b/c I just left the old LS swap shift linkage attached when I swapped the B16A)

I've done research on the linkages, sadly.. there Delsol specific because of the unusual bends and length theres no going around this unless I cut weld and bend the ls linkage that I already cut in half.

Also, the reason I want to stay cable is because i like the feeling of the pedal, its not squishy and has a firm feel to it, but if you guys say that 94-01 teg mounts will work.. what about going from auto to 5-speed? Wont I need a conversion mount? I thought also that the rear or side which ever one it is, has a different weld point not sure which one it is. anyone have some incite on this?

Not sure about your mount questions, maybe give Hasport a call and see if they can offer you some advice, but for the speed sensor you can swap the sensor over from the hydro trans to the cable.

You're right about a different trans mount....I think. I am pretty sure the AT and manual mounts are different.

Thats really weird about the linkage. Now the DA LS linkage you have....I can see how that is different but I find it unusual that 94-01 Integras linkage wont work.

Yea I know it's weird, but the reason it's different is because the shifters mounting point is elevated up higher, because it is a Delsol although it's still classified technically as an eg1.. it's makes no sense why Honda had to make things harder for Delsol lovers to swap in a bigger motor for more fun that are stuck with an S and not a 94+ Si =(

It makes me a sad panda honestly.. but.. ohh well, I also have another question about the engine harness, seeing as I've never done a swap yet helped in a few where this was already done by time I got involved... anyways. seeing as I have the PR4 obd1 ecu and all of the engine harness intact, all I should have to do in theory is pull my ecu, engine harness ect ect and then plug and play everything from the Integra?

Thanks guy for the help thus far, Joe

As long as the plugs are the same from engine harness to your connections at the shock towers.
And the PR4 is OBD1....right? If so...it should connect right in to your existing plugs.

Good luck with the B16 DOHC DEL SOL VTEC shift linkage.
