im needing to know is the 90-93 accord all the same obd ? i was thinking the 90-91 was obd0 and the 92-93 obd1 but im not so sure. the accord is the odd ball when it comes to that.

90-93 were all OBD 0 and it changed to OBD I in 94 with the intro of the F22bx series engines, all of the f22Ax are obd0

yeah, the prelude was a little weird

All of the accords are obd1. They stopped obd0 on the accords in 89. I am 100 percent on that. 90 and up are obd1 untill 96

huh, well time to update my little info sheet, because its definitely wrong then, Thanks man!

Not a problem. The easiest way to determine if a honda is obd0 or obd1 is that they both have to be made before 96 and obd0 had an led on the ecu itself to check for code and you will see it blink and that is how you get the check engine light code. And obd1 you check the check engine light codes on the dash. Also on the 90 thru 93 there is a wire clip on the passabger side right under the glove box that is not connected to anything and has 2 wires going into it. Jump those 2 wires together and your check engine light will blink your code sequence

so if its a obd0 it will have the led light on the ecu like the civics, but you have to jump a wire to get them to count like a obd1 ecu, correct ? if so thats weried because on civics that are obd0 you just turn the key on and they count

My 1990 Accord had OBD1 connectors too; and an OBD1 ECU as I was using the ECU in my Civic that has been converted to OBD1.

in 94 I know they switched to OBDI on the accords, and that little engine sheet is where I got my info from... soo.... yeah....
