There is a press conference for the UFC tomorrow. I'm thinking they may be talking about signing Fedor/Affliction and also bringing back Tito Ortiz.

1) Brock vs. Fedor....

2) who would ortiz fight?

3) who will be Kimbo's first fight if he wins UFC contract?

As long as Dana is in charge, I highly doubt Fedor will be signing; unless maybe it's a short term deal.

There is no more affliction. where can fedor get as much money they will offer him? Fedor will get $1,000,000 for his first UFC fight.

I don't think money was never really a big deal for Fedor. Remember when Pride went away? Many thought he'd have to sign with UFC to fight, but instead went with Affliction

I believe the only way he'd fight is if Dana finally caves in and allows cross-promotion and that he won't be bound by UFC's contracts.

What happened with Ortiz?

Gotcha. Isnt he on White's shit list?

apparently they are on "business terms". i think white realizes tito is a moneymaker and ortiz realizes he's broke without the UFC.

Tito is back.

Fedor doesn't care about the money enough to be restricted. This was the original hang up in the last contract negotiations - Fedor wants to continue to compete in samba tournaments, while the UFC contract explicitly stated that Fedor could not fight in other leagues/tournaments/competition.

I really need to keep up on this stuff haha. Thanks for the info fellas. UFC 101 looks like it should be pretty good as well.

Glad Tito is back, glad Affliction is dead...

Fedor fears Brock, fuck him

For Fedor to think his management (M-1) should get equal billing with the UFC is retarded. Before anyone bitches about the UFC, remember that doing what Fedor wants is the kid of shit that killed boxing. M-1 needs to take a pill and realize they are nothing without the UFC.

Fedor will now fight Bob Sapp and Kimo Leopold or some other losers. Maybe a fight with a 46 year old Couture next summer....

Brock will go on to fight Carwin, Big Nog, Cro-Cop, etc and in two years nobody will care about Fedor

While he is currently the best heavyweight in the world he is over blown. Fedor's 30-1 includes middleweights (185lbs), could you imagine if Lesnar fought Bisbing? Nobody would care.

Fedor wants to continue to compete in samba tournaments
Sambo... Sorry just had to fix that lol

Fedor has also said that he's not an animal and would never fight in a cage. However, there has been a recent interview with Aleks, and Aleks states that the UFC contract is a lot more lenient(sp?) then people think. Aleks says the main reason is Fedor's manager. I'll try and dig up the article...

And yes, Tito is back!!!! He's gonna smash Mark Coleman in his first fight back and i'm gonna love it :D

Fedor has shown us some bad ass fights but (IMO) he hasn't fought enough big fights and may not be able to handle Lesnar (I hate Lesnar)

I think the Hong Man Choi fight would be similar to if he were to fight Brock. That's how Brock got beat last time.

Fedor has plenty of "big" fights, especially compared to Lesnar. If anything, Lesnar could use more "practice" fights.

BTW, they're in talks with Strikeforce also. Seems like there's conflicting information regarding the contract. M-1 and UFC are saying different things so who knows; but the biggest issue seems to be UFC unwilling to co-promote(don't know to what degree but UFC claims it's "half the business").
