ok, on friday iam going to pick up my new ram horn mani. i now have an egay log mani. so here is my delima. the way my turbo is sitting now kinda sucks. but it does work. with the new ram horn mani i will have the option to mount my turbo with the hot side on the pass. side. if that makes sense. as it sits now i had to jerry rig my down pipe due to lack of room. and the way the 92 prelude exhaust is routed. has anyone had any experiance on the best way to mount the turbo? sorry if this doesnt make any sense.
 
I would have to say the best way to mount it would be whatever way you see is the best way to mount it once you get your new mani. :D
 
Wel... I got the new mani!!!! But now it looks like i am going to have to get a new down pipe. I will post some pics of this install just as soon as i get off work and get it done! Wish me luck

thats ok i am running the exhaust side on the passenger side as well you can also losen the bolts on the turbo and turn it so it fits better..if that makes sense to you..
 
yeah i clocked it last night. and there are two bolts on the cold side of my turbo that maybe fucked up. but we will see. they wont tighten up very tight!!!!! and the ram horn mani is rubbing my altantor too. i hope it is not going to be leaking oil..... but i guess we will see today. i have to get another oil drain line. my old one was hard and brittle and broke in half when i was taking off my log manifold. and now iam going to have to re-fab my ic piping from the cold side of my turbo to my intercooler, i got a little frustraded last night so i had to take a break. but i will work on it again when i get off work!!
