Gas mileage

So ive been noticing i burn gas quit quickly in my crx.

I mean i have a 255lph pump, 450cc injectors and run 19psi, but i never really get into it anymore, and if i do its only for a second or two..
So last time i filled up i made record of my Mileage and then again when i went to fill up, and apparently i get 14mpg.. How is that possible because i know people with twice the size of my injectors making atleast 20mpg.

Something with the tune maybe? or idk, anyone have any suggestions?

the more power you're making the worse your gas mileage will be. so if you want better mileage, turn the boost down

i get 32 mpg. in my prelude i was runnin 780cc injectors and 255lph... on 9-11 psi. making 270-290whp.

Nice try, but My buddy makes 400hp runnin 1000cc injectors gettin more gas milage then me.

Then look at Despain, soooo idk whats the prob.

sounds like my v-8 3/4 ton truck gets the same gas mileage as a honda... now im fuel efficient haha

Your problem is shitty tuning. I dunno who in the world would attempt to tune a car based upon feel because it simply doesn't work very well.

Get a wideband in that thing. My guess is that your AFR's are somewhere in the 11's while cruising at partial throttle, when they really should be somewhere in the 14's. Idle should be higher 14's. Into boost right around the 11.5-12.0 range

woah guys lol. the guy who tunes it has a wideband plugged into his laptop. so he DID tune it on the dyno with a wideband. the car had run for months fine no probs. so why now over an O2 sensor.
