hi..i have a b16a in a eg9
here is what i get to setup this engine
68 mm tb
skunk2 pro manifold
skunk2 stage1 pro cams
4.7 final gear ratio for y21 tranny
wiseco 10.75:1 compression ratio forged pistons
header and 2.5"
need help about
1-do i have to get a cam fixture kit to tune my cams or just putting my stock cam gears to the skunk cams because there is no one here can tune the cams.
2-do i have to eat from the sleeves to put a 81mm forged pistons because i heard from a friends that forged pistons are expand in hight heat ..if so i don't want to do this(eating from the sleeves -increasing cr over 11.1 because of the bad octan here)
what do you think
thanks

I don't know what you mean by eat from the sleeves but those 81mm forged pistons should fit if your engine is healthy, make sure to check your piston to cylinder clearance though. You should have got a spec sheet with the pistons. I don't know who told you that forged pistons heat up and expand more but for the most part they are made of LOW expansion aluminum.

As for the cams/gears I'd get some cam gears and have them tuned in by a pro, you could probably get away with using stock cam gears but they won't perform unless tuned in properly. Also IMO you wasted your money on those pro1's and the power difference from just buying a set of ITR cams which you wouldn't need gears for is negligible.

so you think that skunk's pro cams will not give any power unless it tuned by a cam fixer kit or it'll give power by putting up the stock gears with these pro cams and do wide band and a chip and if i must tune gears ...what can i do we don't have any tuner here for cams

To tune in the cams you'll need someone with a dyno, a chipped/socketed ecu so the program can be modified using neptune, crome etc, and a tuner to do it for you. If you don't do that you won't get the most out of them. Also you'll need some adjustable cam gears to tune the degree of the cams in.

So in a nutshell, if you aren't setup for or have someone to tune your car you are better off not getting them because you won't get the full potential from them. Also skunk 2 pro 1s are pretty comparable to the ITR cams, they might make a little more power but the difference is negligible for the price.

i have a chipped ecu and we have a tuner with crome and we can tune to have most power of these cams but the problem is
how can we adjest the degrees of the cam gears ?
And if we didn't adjest the gears by putting the stock gears what'll happen?
I can buy cam fixer ket but i don't know how to adjest the gears!
Advise plz

well in order to adjust your cam timing you need to know how to degree your cam ..... basically your trying to adjust the intake centerline so that it matches the number on the cam card and from there adjustments can be made to increase or retard the timing. ......now this is something you need to have someone who knows what there doing do. If its done incorrectly you could lose power or worse your pistons and valves. And no i can not explain how to do it on the computer this is a skill that needs to be taught in person for you to fully understand. Best advice take it to a shop with your cam card and get your cam degree'd by some one whos knows how

before i do my setup

help with this

I only have one thing to say.

WHAT????

best way to hear vtec crossover is throw it in like 3rd at 4k rpm and flore it. you will hear the crossover at whatever RPM its set at, usually 5200+RPM.

i know alll this but my vtec sound is very low and the vtec work
i dont know why
i drived many cars with b16a and the sound of vtec is aggresive
