Finally the question of who would win in a battle between the Rescue Rangers and the X-Men will be answered!

bad move imo

I second the motion. Disney has a really hippy outlook on everything. So say good buy to Iron Mans anti matter guns and shit, its going to be rainbows and butterflies. As well as therapy through group hugs in the next movie.

I wish I had 4 billion to blow... honestly, I wish I had stock in Marvel. It just shot up 25% when the news broke.

ifsl shot up over 100% today, a pick i made 2 weeks ago. If you read savingstalk.com, you could be rich like me and nick :)

If they're smart about this, then they won't do that. Comic book fans make up a huge demographic. If they go and emasculate all future marvel movies and comics, they're going to lose revenue. They might make up some by gaining a larger kiddie audience, but it would essentially ruin Marvel for any current fans...

Hopefully they repeat their course of action with Pixar and just let them do their thing.

Just because the name Disney is associated with a brand doesn't mean that it will turn all Alice in Wonderland.

Have you seen the trailers for the new Alice in Wonderland? It is no where near cartoon :)

As for Disney letting Pixar do its own thing, Pixar does not and has not covered terrorists (Iron man) and blatant racism (X-Men). Only time will tell and I really hope they simply bankroll Marvel and let them do what they have been doing. Disney can really help with branding/marketing as well as building a stronger fan base through Disneyland/World.

disney did this for 1 reason. the same reason they bought pixar. eliminate competition by acquiring them.

marvel will change nothing. stan lee sold his soul to the devil around 1941. he will NOT let anything change for the worse. if anything, this improves marvel's image and grows their audience. by a lot.

Just looked it up on youtube and it looks decent. Wow Depp is making a living out off Tim Burton. First Willy Wonka and now the mad hatter.

umm...no. tim burton is making a living off of depp. burton woudn't be able to make such amusing movies without the quality acting from depp.

lol at "first willy wonka". they have done about 8 movies together, starting with edward scissorhands in 1990.
