Did you know that a cubic zirconia has a greater chance of surviving a house fire than a diamond? Once you introduce enough heat or oxygen to a diamond, it disappears into a puff of carbon dioxide. Diamonds aren't rare either; there are warehouses full of diamonds, and the people running them don't sell them in order to keep the price up. The diamond manufacturers have an agreement to only release a certain number of diamonds a year. So, diamonds are neither "forever" nor rare.

And this has been, my interesting fact for you all.
 
Well whatever the case may be, giving diamond anything to the old lady guarantees i get blow jobs for quite some time.
 
The fact that we are using computers has caused Africa to shed more blood that diamonds. Most of the resources required to make a resistor or other electronic components come straight out of the mines of Africa. Why do you think that when someone helps over through a government down there they want mining concessions? Yes blood diamonds are very real no doubt about it, but there are many more resources that are worth much more than diamonds.
 
NRL has been making REAL fake diamonds for awhile now. they have a process that does to a diamond over night what thousands of years takes. Legit diamonds.

They are working with them for new products like powerlines, turns out diamonds have a much lower loss of energy they're also great when used in cutting products as with many other things.

As with most things, it is only worth what value WE put on it.

Gold might be worth 1 dollar an oz in 50 year, oil might be worth $500 a barrel in 10 years then again it might be worth less then dirt.

who knows.
 
Exactly, we are the ones that place value on all objects. Although, I would imagine that the cost of diamonds out of the ground will only go up. Synthetic is synthetic to most folks.

well, the main thing that got me thinking on this subject again is that i was browsing through the motorcycle section and saw that jeffie7 got his gf a huge diamond engagement ring.

so, really it's women's fault that diamonds are so expensive. and rappers.

They are now able to make diamonds that are no different then the diamonds pulled from the earth quality wise. So whos to say the market wont get flooded? however, I believe the market is flooded now and there's no reason to sell more for less when they can easily sell less for more.

It's not the size that matters....... *looks down* "thank god"

Now that I've done tons of research on diamonds and had to shop around for the best diamond for the price (I bought the diamond by itsself then added it to a ring) Rings stand out to me like a sore thumb now, everyday I see women come in with giant diamonds on their fingers, its sad but for some reason they really like big. Even if it means having a shit cut, really weird shape, cheap ass looking band, and god only knows how bad of clarity. they dont care, they just want bling on the fing.

Shit just look at my hands. I'm a piano player with hands the size of most womens, thankfully they're a bit thicker, but just as short.
