my boosted ls took a dump not suprised


well i had a bone stock b18a in my ef with a precision sc34 and a cheep cast ebap manifold and this is how things went

went to the track they had the portable dyno ther (dyno dynamics) made a few passes went 11.66 at 124 and 11.71 at 121 decided to put the car on the dyno as it was all street tuned from this point

any ways after about a hour of fine tunning i gained 47more hp final numbers were 387hp 354tq on this dyno dynamics dyno so on a dyno jet it would have made about 18% more thats almost 450 hp on a stock ls wow its gona blow i told my self.

any ways i le that car cool and made another pass went 11.36 at 127 holy shit and it was done after this pass it was knocking on the return road get back to pits and compair the piston heights in 1and4 and 2and3 well 2 was almost 1/4in shorter than number 3lol so i called it a night drove it home going to take it apart later this week cant believe i bet a rod

cable gsr trans
quaife
tilton twin clutch
wallbro 255 and 1000cc inj
tuned with aem and E85
turbo is a 57mm SC34
tial wastegate
18.2 lbs of boost
24.5x7x13 slicks on bogarts
dss 5.9 axles
many other things but thats it for now

hell yea had it for about a year i ported it and it works well it is a cast mani not jank tublar its kinda hard to screw up cast iron i even used anti lag and that will kill a mani fast
 
I think he meant that on a regular dyno he made 387 but on a dyno jet it would have made 18% more which would put it at about 457
 
the more guys i see making sick numbers on stock ls's, the more i want to boost mine! :-|

yes you are correct i dynoed my car on a dyno dynamics dyno and they read about 18% lower than a dyno jet and about 10% lower than a mustang. so yes 18% more would be 457hp
