What do you guys think?

Every time I link one of my leftward leaning nyc compadres an article from the site, they dismiss it as "non-credible" EVEN IF the article quotes factually accurate information provided from non-bias sources...

Reuters is my home page btw. I consider that to be one of the greatest sources of "current event" reporting available for free.

Obviously Fox is more right leaning.. no one can deny that. But if you compare it's lean compared to CNN.. jesus, they are really left. You don't even have to listen to what they say.. just get a list of what they report on and you can make that assumption. Secondly, for the most part, when they have someone left leaning on fox they at least give them a shot to make their point. Most of the time on CNN the anchor just basicly starts dissmissing w/e the guy with the "R" next to his name said before they can even answer the question. Sometimes with alot of anger... unneeded anger.

I'm sure everyone could come up with losts of evidence to support one way or the other.. I watch all three pretty equally, and the other two are much worse.

Credible for sure. Saying that they aren't legit is just saying you buy everything that any leftist says (like every other news source) and discount anything that is right. What is partisan there?

they are as legit as any other news source... yes they do have a more "right" lean... but there are plenty of sources with a "left" lean... some dont even try to act objective (msnbc)

if you only use one source to get your news and information you will never get the real story
news stopped being about unbiased reporting a LONG time ago...
all you can find now is someones opinion of what happened...

best bet is to find at least 3 different sources and try to weed though the bullshit to find the actual story somewhere underneath, then make your opinion off of your findings

unfortunately you can no longer take the word of anyone in the media at face value... they are all trying to sell you something

Agree with E. ALL news stations lean one way or another. You just have to know which.

E is right on the money. I check CNN, MSNBC, BBC and Reuters all day long. I listen to Beck and Limbaugh in the mornings and check out Beck's tv show when I get home. It is a mountain of bullshit, some pile it on more than others. But no one covered the Acorn bullshit other than Beck. I haven't had a chance to watch the tv spot though.

Any news I watch is to see what they are reporting on so I can do my own investigation. Getting the reporter's opinion is tedious.

CNN has been all over the acorn prostitution stuff.

hahaha, I totally forgot to edit my post last night. Right after I posted that I hopped onto CNN and low behold there is the ACORN prostitution story. And now we have a second video coming out of DC this morning as well.

bbc ftw?

I use it for fact checking.
