I'll start out the thread.

Did anybody see the fight last night? Kimbo was pretty quiet. I was surprised at the humility.

oh yeah, and the nastiest fucking gash in ufc history.

yeah i saw it

i was rather impressed with Kimbo's humility as well... he seemed to have one of the smaller egos of the group

big abe definitely got his shit rocked... and that gash almost made me puke
the fucking blood was literally STREAMING out of his damn head... there was a steady flow just pissing all over him all over the mat, all over jon, all over every damn thing... i am really shocked that the ref / doc didnt call that fight in or just after the first round

the end where they showed him getting cleaned and stitched up was pretty damn nasty... his forehead looked like a sliced piece of fucking liver :puke:

the funny part is, when they were getting ready to numb it for the stitches he asked, "is the shot gonna hurt?"

jeebus you fucking clown. it's not going to hurn any more than the 240lb elbow that popped you open like a hot dog in a microwave.

that was kinda funny... and i almost had a chance to chuckle about it, but then they started probing at the slab of liver that was his forehead, saying something about "yeah i can see your skull" or some such shit :puke:

Damn, I am bummed I missed it :( It will for sure be on the dvr for the remainder of the season however.

i start dry heaving every time i think about it. they squeezed it together, then pulled it wayyyyy apart. *quivers*

It was good, and I agree that shot after was freakin gross, so deep. :puke: Looking forward to the next episode. Big abe got demolished, every dam time the guy would shoot and they'd be on the ground for 5 min. How the hell didn't they stop the fight? If it was a normal UFC match, that would have been stopped (the bleeding), plus he kept getting his face smashed against the cage, I thought they weren't allowed to do that...

Why are you guys so surpirsed by Kimbo? Not once has Kimbo ever shown a big ego since he started doing MMA. Well there are some reports about him having a big head behind closed doors but as far as in public and in interviews, he shows a lot of respect for his opponents. I just think he gets a bad rep similar to why Lesnar has gotten bad rep, in terms of mma experience.

If you think that was the nastiest cut in UFC history then you obviously haven't seen what Vitor Belfort did to Marvin Eastman lol...

And this is after it was already cleaned up and the bleeding stopped lol

Bas Ruten said he got a bit of a big head when he was training with him. I think it was Bas anyway.

But I could have told you that his head wasn't going to be the biggest in the house. I'd say 99% of heavyweights are the biggest guy they know. It's basically a free pass to be the biggest asshole they know too. Most of them have had people on their nuts since they were a star on pop warner football. Lots of time for "heavyweight" egos to grow.
