im looking to invest some money n my suspension but not 2 sure what to go with.. dont know 2 much bout suspensions.. im looking for some coilovers for street and track on weekends.. ive looked at skunk2, progress, Kbee, D2, and tokico... so idk.. thanx an advance..

well your never gona get just 1 answer for this, its like asking d15b or d16z6, ect ect, with that said i like tein

yeah i know i guess pretty much asking opinions in this case.. theres juss so many different set ups out there...

what do you mean by "track"??

I'm in the process of in installing a set of Function Forms this weekend. They are built in the same factory as the skunk2's, omni powers, ect... For $900 you get a setup with ride height adjustment, 32 way damping adjustment, and adjustable pillow ball mounts. You will pay another $400 to get this from Tein. I know they are unheard of, but the quality and fitment is great so far, and a very reputable shop by me, Slomotion Motorsports, pushes them hard.

I've heard of function and forum my friend was telling me bout them cause he had them on his 240 and said they were great..

I just put a set of Buddy Club N+ Spec Dampers on my EG hatch. Awesome!! You have to actually tune it and set it up right so you aren't bouncing down the street, but when it's dialed in for canyon runs, or autoX they are money. I use them for the street, circuit, and autoX. Quality all the way. That's just my two cents...

Tokico is never bad. Skunk 2 is only good for racing as they are to stiff and back jaring.

I guess if you blur your vision enough, from across the room the "PIC" on the coilover moreso the "IC" part could be mistaken for the Louis Vuitton LV symbol. That or that was just a reference to how classy their coilover setup looks. They ARE pretty damn sexy. Id almost wish I could leave them exposed. Gotta get me some clear rims!

I want to get some for my eg as well but just for street and I'm not trying to spen a lot of money !!

then get springs

if you are not going to put the time and money into properly balancing the car with the adjustable coilovers than yo are better off saving your money and getting springs and shocks

you will never get the same ride quality from a set of un-tuned coilovers that you will get from a decently matched set of springs / struts

the ONLY benefit of adjustable coilovers is the ability to tune them and corner balance the car... if you are not doing that then you are wasting your money
